SLNPS EX-PARENT ATTESTATION

SILVER TOAST TO ANGELS IN HUMAN SKIN

We write this piece with deep nostalgia, coupled with immense honour and humility, yet with a sense of pride, for being a part of a testament of excellence and glory.

Indeed, we are at a vantage position, to periscope the 25-year history of the St. Louis Nursery and Primary school, Ikere Ekiti.
I served in the executive of the Parents Teachers' Association, first as Public Relations Officer and later as Vice Chairman, while my wife, is currently on the board, as the legal adviser.

Besides, we were parents in the school, for eleven unbroken years, from 2003 to 2014. Each of our two sons spent nine academic sessions, made up of three(3) years of pre-school, nursery class, and six years of primary 1 to 6. Hmmmmm, Quite an Israelite journey you would say!!!.

Of the seven(7) Reverend Sisters who administered the school, since Inception, twenty-five (25) years ago, with the exception of the pioneer, Revd Sis. Rachel Alonge And the Current, Revd.Sis. Lucia Adenle, My wife, and I, worked very closely with the five Reverend Sister Headmistresses, In between the pioneer and the current.

Right from the days of the Late Rev.Sis. Mary Carmel Fagbemi to Revd Sis. Christie Adegoroye to Revd.Sis. Veronica Orunmoluyi to Revd.Sis. Felicia Ogundana and Revd.Sis. Christianah Ogundele, they all shared one commitment, which was the Transmission of Qualitative, Functional, and Competitive Total Foundational Education, spiced with Morality, as a Panacea for a decadent society.

The youth crisis, which has snowballed into the leadership challenge In Nigeria today, In our view, is traceable to the proliferation of private nurseries and primary schools. Regretfully, many of them cost an arm and a Leg with structural aesthetics, designed to command an imaginary class/status symbol among parents, who fall prey to the antics of these  "SHYLOCK EDUPRENEURS"
Sadly, I dare say with equanimity, they are mostly bereft of quality and content.

At SLNPS Ikere Ekiti, the price of two for one is assured or even the price of a dozen for one, as a matter of fact, for being an educational warehouse of the under-listed ethos contaminant to societal development :
 ? NOBLE CHARACTER BUILDING.
? LEADERSHIP VALUES AND TRAINING.
? QUALITATIVE, FUNCTIONAL AND BALANCED FOUNDATIONAL EDUCATION.
? RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE AND TEAM BUILDING.
?  HEALTHY RIVALRY BIRTHING EXCELLENCE.

Located in the rustic ancient town of Ikere Ekiti, it is ironic, that SLNPS, from its operational base, provides a globally competitive educational framework, with her products riding very high today, As great ambassadors in different professional callings.
This admirable feat has been enabled by the almighty God, working through the founder of the Sisters Of St. Louis, a Catholic congregation In 1842, Louis Bautain, Sisters of St. Louis Nigeria, parents, teaching and non-teaching staff and well-meaning public-spirited individuals and philanthropists.

Conclusively, may we suggest, that the SLNPS authorities, should urgently establish a database of its products in the last 25 years and move forward, leveraging on their social connect and networks, To further extend the development of their Alma Mater--- St. Louis Nursery and Primary School Ikere Ekiti being the bedrock of their success story today.
This is a sure way to leapfrog, into an unimaginable future of more success, where the St. Louis brand remains the premium.
Congratulations on the Silver Jubilee and may this sweet rhythm never stop.
